RS Slim Therapy: a booking-first site for a Manhattan body studio.

RS Slim Therapy is a one-therapist body-sculpting studio in Manhattan. I designed and built a site that explains five treatments clearly, earns trust fast, and turns visits into booking requests in WhatsApp.

Treatments 5, each with its own card Booking form → WhatsApp, no backend

The RS Slim Therapy homepage: the headline “Transform your body & mind” with Book a session and Explore treatments buttons, stats for years in practice, treatments and clients, and the therapist holding a vibromassage device.

Overview

A personal service that needed to feel trustworthy.

RS Slim Therapy is run by Inna Troutovski, a licensed massage therapist with a medical background. She offers five treatments, from pressotherapy to STYX body wrapping, in a private studio in Manhattan.

Clients reach her on Instagram and WhatsApp, and she posts before-and-after photos there every week. The website had to do what a feed can’t: explain each treatment, show who she is, and make booking feel easy and safe.

The brief

Three questions every visitor asks.

01

What is this treatment?

Pressotherapy, R-Slim and Vibromassage G5 are unfamiliar names. Each one needed a plain-language explanation and a photo.

02

Can I trust her?

Body treatments are personal. Credentials, experience and real client words had to be visible early.

03

How do I book?

Her clients already talk to her on WhatsApp and Instagram, so booking had to end up there too.

Design

A design system built for this studio.

Sage, clay and charcoal

Muted sage for a natural, clean-beauty feel, warm clay for skin and touch, set against deep charcoal and warm porcelain. Calm and premium without looking clinical.

Carved corners

Every card, button and photo uses the same asymmetric “carved” corner. It’s a small signature that makes the site recognizably its own.

Type with a job

Bricolage Grotesque for headlines, Manrope for reading, and IBM Plex Mono for numbers and labels, so stats like “10+ years” and “90 min” read like data.

Trust up front

The about section leads with her credentials: medical background, New York license, practicing since 2012, and a private Manhattan studio. A client quote sits on her photo.

The About Inna section: a photo of the therapist in her studio with a five-star client quote, beside her story and four credentials: medical background, NY licensed, since 2012 and Manhattan studio.

Build

Light, fast and easy to book from.

A hand-coded static site with no framework and no backend to maintain.

Booking into WhatsApp

  • The form asks for name, contact details, a treatment and a message. Treatments are one-tap chips, with “Not sure yet” selected by default.
  • On submit, it builds a prefilled WhatsApp message and opens a chat with the studio. No server, no lost emails.
  • WhatsApp links sit in the services grid, the mobile menu and the footer, so there’s always a way to message her directly.

Mobile first

  • A full-screen menu with large links and Book Now and WhatsApp buttons.
  • A sticky Book Now button stays on screen while you scroll on phones.
  • Layouts step down from three columns to one across three breakpoints.

Details

  • Sections fade in on scroll with IntersectionObserver, and the header turns solid once you scroll.
  • Floating cards, the marquee and scroll reveals all switch off for visitors who prefer reduced motion.
  • An FAQ accordion answers the five questions clients ask most, from session count to location.
The contact section: a dark card with Instagram, WhatsApp, location and a map, beside a three-step form with name, email, phone, treatment chips and a message field.
Contact · the form opens WhatsApp with the request filled in
